Question Backpack Info

When the "Gold: #" bar is highlighted, it displays cash on hand and cash in bank. So, why doesn't "#% Encumberance" have a display?

I suggest adding a tooltip with Loot Value (cash #) and Total Weight (current #/max #). Not much more is needed, if players want more details, they can go to the inventory screen.

And yes, I realize the info on the requested tooltip is also on the inventory screen, i just thought it'd be nice to have these readily available.

Thanks at least for probably reading this.

Y'know to add onto that..I think it'd be a nice addition to be able to toss items out. Like get rid of heavy common loot to allow possible exotics or rares to fill the void.

That seems to be a popular request

Oh I'm sorry. Has that already been asked? I'm not trying to say "DO IT NOW!" I just noticed this thread and thought of how many times I've run out of bag space and see something like:
"You've collected the basic double edged sword [C] 15g - Weight 10
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Since your bag is full you've had to leave behind
Dwarven Loved Tankard [E] 423g - Weight 2"

Don't worry, can't hurt (ah hope) to have someone new ask again (as long as it doesn't get spammed )

I did notice, the one time that I had enough good fights in a row to actually fill up my backpack, that the game warned me that my backpack was full and I might want to return to DT to sell my stuff...

Not all games are nice enough to do that.

i rekon since if you got rid of common items than the quartermaster skill would be redunt that it wouldnt work.

Well, you reckon wrong. What people are asking for is the option to discard certain items from their packs ( perhaps with restrictions on the amount of times you can do this per trip ), not to abolish the common items altogether. This would not make the Logistics or Quartermaster skills redundant, and also let us not forget the Bag of Holding and Gnomish Backpack of Holding advantages, which also increase your carrying capacity. Granted, these can be purchased via game-won credits but they are fairly expensive items and its unlikely the devs would nullify something that could make them money.
