Default Immortal Rankings

I think the number of times you remort should be considered when calculating the immortal ranking board. Eg) My character has remorted 8 times and is ranked lower than a player that has remorted only once.

Or perhaps simply create a new filter in the ranking section to apply these changes? (Immortal lifetime score).

I am above the characters who has remorted once but we have almost equal level. I think that both is considered, level and number of remorts. I don't see a problem in this.

Rank is considered when calculating the XP for the immortal leaderboard. My Honeyfuggle is right now at 14th place and at level 74, Rank 45. The character right below him in 15th place is at level 83, Rank 1.

Edit: Higher rank just means that you'll shoot up the leaderboard quicker with each new rank.

The formula seems to be

immortal score = XP * multiplier

where multiplier is determined by your immortal rank (number of remorts).
After looking at some entries on the ranking board, dividing immortal score by XP, I found:

Rank | Multiplier
45 | 2.45
23 | 2.23
20 | 2.20
21 | 2.21
12 | 2.12
9 | 2.05
7 | 1.95
3 | 1.60
2 | 1.40
1 | 1.20

So, for the first few remorts your multiplier increases rapidly, but when you reach the higher ranks the benefit of additional remorts is not so great.

Rank 1-4: multiplier increases by 0.20 for each remort.
Rank 5-10: multiplier increases by 0.05 for each remort.
Rank 11-∞: multiplier increases by 0.01 for each remort.

Maybe it would be nice though to also have a ranking that is based solely on immortal rank, or maybe one that ranks characters on the highest immortal score they ever achieved.

A few days ago I remorted my level 250 character (there was not much else to do anymore) and now he has sunk back in obscurity, which I don't like ofcourse.

You can not level higher than level 250? There are level 255 and 275 characters, I wonder how they got there...

Sure you can, until you reach the XP cap at level 275. But there wasn't anything left to do, nothing to upgrade. As a rank 21 immortal I would never have been able to rise higher in the rankings, so I found a new objective: increase immortal rank! Having fun again though, guess that's the most important thing.
