Question Resetting Skills

Once again, I know that I should not have to ask this question at my level, but I hadn't been on in over a year up until last week. When and if I were to reset my Skills, would the Skill Points I have garnered over my 46 or so levels just go poof or do they bank themselves to where I may redistribute them after resetting?

I have never reset my skills before, however I assume that it would be the latter option, not the former. The reason for this is because if all the skill points go "poof" then the character would be too weak to fight. It would be as if you'd gone back to level 1, except fighting monsters that are level 46. Highly unlikely (nearly impossible). I think I also read that the Dust of Re-decisiveness refunds the skill points.

Besides, what would be the point of resetting if you are going to lose all the skill points? If you had to start over without those points being refunded, you'd be better off not resetting.

I'd suggest getting to lvl55 and remorting instead of using credits to reset your skills. It's true that, being lvl46 you have a sort of long way to get there, but you'll save those credits and when you remort you go back to lvl1 (with an awesome power, of course), getting a new chance to redistribute your skills as you see fit.
